Tim was raised on the beaches of the Gold Coast, actually you could probably say that he was born with webbed feet and sprouted from the ocean. Growing up by the water he was body surfing before he could walk and dolphin calling before he could talk.
“The day after I received my open water I was sweeping the floors and cleaning the pool of the dive shop, after a while they must have felt guilty and offered me a job. Soon I was running the social club and dive travel and it went on to managing the shop. I was addicted, and still am”
After years of working and travelling within the dive industry Tim combined his passion for all water sports and created Watersports Guru.
“ Of all the water sports I do, dive travel is still my favourite. There is nothing better than submerging in new waters for the first time to discover the unknown”. |
