The 2011 Underwater Festival The 2011 Underwater Festival breaks new ground in underwater shootout competitions. UF11 will feature a photo and video shootout competition that happens simultaneously all over Australasia with over $150,000 in prizes.	Mon Repos Turtle Rookery Just 15km east of Bundaberg, one of nature's great events takes place. Each year, Loggerhead, green and flatback turtles lay their eggs in the safety of the sand at Mon Repos Beach and a few months later their offspring emerge from the sand and make their way towards the water - the beginning of an epic journey to the East Australian Current.
Whyalla Adventures My friend Natalie and I zipped down to Adelaide for a quick holiday to get some real winter temperatures and so I could go see the annual Australian giant cuttlefish (Sepia apama) mating aggregation at Whyalla.
