I took up diving in 2003 so that I had something to do when there was no surf and I could still be in the water. Scuba Diving was the answer; I tried Free Diving but was crap at holding my breath so the scuba tank came in really handy.
I picked up my first camera from the rubbish bin- a re-usable instant
flim camera- I loved my green photos. I moved onto a Compact Digital and now I use a Nikon D80 in an Ikelite housing.
I do my best to dive 3 times a week doing everything from shore dives , boat dives and night dives- anything to keep me wet.
I've just moved down to Sydney and am diving my arse of , there are so many dive sites here I almost don't know where to start, and they're only the shore dives- can't wait to hit the boat dive scene and do some.
