I grew up in Far North Queensland and the Great Barrier Reef was my playground. My father, a keen sailor, insured I spent majority of my childhood exploring the fringing reef and coastline of Four Mile beach, Port Douglas.
I started diving as a teenager and progressed to working as a diver on the Great Barrier Reef where my passion for our oceans conservation manifested.
I am currently completing a bachelor degree in public relations and marketing at QUT Brisbane. Always keen to try anything water orientated, diving, snorkelling, free diving, amateur underwater photography and attempting to master the favourite past time of South Eastern Queenslanders, surfing! (Bloody hard – gimme a tank and fins anyday!)
Travel, conservation and the Australian Marine Conservation Society float my boat.
