White-lined RockcodAnyperodon leucogrammicus
(Other names Slender Grouper)
Juveniles display grey to pale blue and gold stripes running vertically along the body. They are renowned for mimicking the similar coloured wrasses to draw in their prey. As adults they have a grey to white body with dark orange/red to brown spots covering the entire length. The dorsal, caudal and anal fin may also sometimes appear to be yellow. Found solitary along coastal reefs and coral rich areas. Size: Length 50cm (Maximum) Diet: Fishes & Crustaceans |
