Wheeler's Shrimp GobyAmblyeleotris wheeleri
(Other names Gorgeous Shrimpgoby & Burgundy Watchman)
Alternating red (light or dark) and yellowish white bands make up the colour and pattern of this goby. Small blue, white and red spots can also been found along the head and body but are more dominant towards the head. The are known to have a close association with the alpheid shrimps within their habitat which is often along coastal and coral reefs and areas that have muddy flat bottoms.
