Variegated LizardfishSynodus variegatus
(Other names Reef Lizardfish)
This lizardfish can be variable in colour with a mottled whitish grey to pale brown body and several red or dark brown saddles over the back. It generally has numerous dark red or brown blotches running along the side of the body almost forming a irregular line. They are usually found around deep lagoons, coastal and seaward reefs.
