Three-spot CardinalfishApogon trimaculatus
This cardinalfish has a dusky grey to brown body with darker but faint spots on each scale. A dark brown saddle and two irregular blotches can be found over the back. A small spot can be found around the gill and on the caudal peduncle and the tip of the dorsal fin is usually white. They can be found swimming solitary or in pairs around coastal and coral reefs.
