Thicklip WrasseHemigymnus melapterus
(Other names Blackeye thicklip, Half-and-half thicklip, Blackedge thicklip wrasse)
Massive changes between juveniles and adult and sexes. Young fish are green to brown with white bands running vertically down the body and the fish grows the head to midway down the body changes to white, with the back of the body turning black and the tail becomes yellow. With adulthood comes large lips and the yellow tail fades to green to match the back of the body green edged dark scales. The head remains white with vibrant pink lines on it.
