Juveniles are a bold blue and as they mature into adults this begins to slowly fade. The upper body can appear to be a greenish blue and the caudal fin a faint yellow which also displays a large black spot in the centre. Although juveniles are often found in groups as adults they are commonly found in pairs where they inhibit coastal reefs, outer reef slopes and bays. Size: 14cm (Maximum) Diet: Zooplankton |
