Tail-blotch Lizardfish

The body is mottled pale brown and white, often with a green tinge along the back. It has several dark brown to black saddles/blotches that run over the back. It can be identified by the distinct black blotch found on the caudal peduncle. It is often found along coral reefs inhabiting both sandy and rocky bottomed areas.
