Stars-and-Stripes ToadfishArothron hispidus
The colour of the body is variable as adults and can range from a bluish grey (fading to white below) to a greenish brown /dark brown. Numerous white spots dominate the body and head and underneath (belly region) small white lines are displayed. The pectoral fin is surrounded by a ring of black margined in white and the eye also as a white ring around it. These fish are commonly found along coastal areas around rocky reefs or sandy bottoms.
