Spotted hypselodoris (Hypselodoris maculosa) is a common nudibranch that is sometimes hard to identify due to varying colouration and pattens. Main body colour ranging from yellow/cream/orange and white, with dashes and spots. Head and tail can feature densely clustered purple and white spots. A telling characteristic are the rhinophore which are banded red or orange.
