Spotted HawkfishCirrhitichthys oxycephalus
This Hawkfish is highly variable in colour, and although sometimes mistaken as the Coral Hawkfish it does not have the distinct yellow tufts on the dorsal fin that the Coral Hawkfish does. White to pink bodied with numerous dark brown/black to pink/red spots over the entire body and face (including fins). Found to inhabit coastal and offshore reefs.
