Red Striped Hermit CrabCiliopagurus strigatus
(Other names Cone Shell Hermit Crab)
This small crab with yellow and red striped legs, if seen should be viewed with caution as they inhabit cone shells. Sometime when inhabited by the crab the cone shell is still alive and if this is the case, the toxic sting of the cone shell can effect the respiratory system and the heart and in extreme cases can be fatal.
