Rainford's ButterflyfishChaetodon rainfordi
Mainly yellow, however has six bands of colour each orange bordered. The two closet to the head are white. The two nearer the tail are a greyish purple on a background of yellow. It is not uncommon to see hybrids with the Gold-banded butterflyfish. They inhabit coastal and inner reefs, of sparse coral growth. They will form pairs during breeding.
