Pygmy Devilray

Unlike alot of members in the Ray family the tail of the Pygmy Devilray contains no sting and is easily identified by two protruding lobes on the front of the head. This is one of the smallest in the Devilray family and has a small dorsal fin on the back of the body just before the tail. They are dark blue to black on top and and white underneath.

Size: 100 cm width (Maximum)

Diet: Plankton & Small Fish
