Pickhandle Barracuda

Silver bodied with darker bars over the lateral line. Bars look like arrows, as where they meet the lateral line they reverse. The caudal fin is yellow in colour towards the edge. Inhabits estauries, coral reefs and found in open seas. All though most Barracuda attacks take place when the fish has been provoked, care should be taken when in the water with these animals wiggling fingers could be mistaken as prey!
