Pencilled Surgeonfish

They have a greenish brown body with very fine blue lines running horizontally over the entire length including the head. The head has a yellow bar between the eyes which continues to run around both eyes. The dorsal, anal and pectoral fin all have a shading of yellow as the beginning of the caudal fin on the top and bottom is also yellow. This continues with white (not always) then blue with dark spots. The caudal peduncle displays a white spine surrounded by black. Their habitat includes coastal and corals reefs and deeper offshore reefs.
