Pallid TriggerfishSufflamen bursa
(Other names Boomerang Triggerfish)
The Pallid Triggerfish (Sufflamen bursa) is an easy fish to id. There is not much variance between juveniles and adults. An oval shaped body, light brown to light grey colour on the top part of the fish with thin horizontal bars running along the body. The chin and belly of the fish is white. The identifying feature, is two crescent shaped bars one running through the eye and the second smaller one sitting just behind the eye these are yellow to brown in colour.
