Orange-lined Cardinalfish

Orange and silver horizontal bars displayed over the entire fish. It can sometimes appear to have blue margins on the bars around the head. Very similar to the Southern Orange-lined Cardinalfish Apogon properuptus which has fewer lines and appears to be more orange. Usually inhabits coastal and outer reefs in small to large groups.

Diet: Small invertebrates, planktonic crustaceans, zooplankton
