The Old Glory is easily identified from other types as it has a dusky grey body with a yellowish head that displays (usually five) orange to red blue edged vertical lines running along the body including the head. It also has white spots along the base of the dorsal fin down the back and a yellow edged black spot (ocellus) on the dorsal fin. They inhibit coral and coastal reef areas.
