(Other names Deep-bodied Leatherjacket)
Mosaic Leatherjacket map

Mosaic Leatherjacket (Eubalichthys mosaicus) depending on location juveniles are commonly orange to brown bodied with a dark grey/bluish mosaic-like pattern covering the entire body. At this stage their body tends to be alot rounder in shape, becoming more slender as they mature in to adults. As adults their colour fades to a yellowish brown and the mosaic pattern becomes more profound.
Juveniles are commonly found along costal reefs where as adults they can be found around deep offshore reefs.
