Mimic Blenny

One of the most common species in the Blenniidae family, the Mimic Blenny is white bodied with a distinct black vertical stripe running along its entire body and across its eye. The dorsal and anal fin are both margined in black and a hint of yellow can sometimes be seen on these areas. Usually found in seaward reefs and clear lagoons where it is known to mimic other similar fish to get close to its prey.

Size: 14cm in length

Diet: Dermal tissue and mucus from other fish
