Malabar CodEpinephelus malabaricus

The colour of the body is made up of numerous small blotches of white/grey, and large blotches of light/dark brown, almost looking like large vertical bars towards the back end of the fish. The entire body including the head has numerous small black spots which helps to identify this Cod. They are commonly found in protected areas along coastal and coral reefs.
