Johnston's DamselPlectroglyphidodon johnstonianus
(Other names Johnston Island damsel)
This damsel has a couple of variations with its colour. It can be white to silver or pale yellow bodied with a large black blotch positioned around the caudal peduncle area which on some occasions may only appear as a fine line or not be present at all. They can be found in coral rich areas of the inner and outer reefs of tropical waters. Size: 14cm in length (Maximum) Diet: Benthic Algae |
