Jewel Damselfish

Plectroglyphidodon lacrymatus
(Other names Whitespotted Devil)

Flat black to grey in colour, with an orangey brown tail. Distinguishable by bright blue spots over their body. Juveniles have even more and brighter spots. Can be found inhabiting clear lagoons and seaward reefs where there is mixed coral and rubble and dead coral.

Size: 10cm (Maximum)

Diet: Benthic Algae, Small Invertebrates & Fish Eggs
