The Humphead Maori Wrasse (Cheilinus undulatus) is recognised by its thick lips and the hump on the forehead. Body green to blue with scribbled lines along the body and two darker lines positioned behind the eye. The largest wrasse of the Labridae species and can weigh up to 190kg. Usually found along coral reefs. The Humpheaded Maori Wrasse is protected in Western Australia and Queensland.
