Honeycomb MorayGymnothorax favagineus
(Other names Laced Moray)
With a pattern that looks like honeycomb, hence the name, this eel is white to light grey bodied with dark brown to black spots over the entire body and head. These spots commonly reduce in size as the the eel matures. Caution should be taken when eels are sighted, although they are considered to be normally quite placid their jaws and teeth may inflict harmful wounds if provoked or caught off guard.
