Half-banded SeaperchHypoplectrodes macculochi
Variable in colour from a pale pink / red to brown and white underneath. Several darker red to brown bands run vertically along the side of the body and a horizontal bar runs from the snout through the eye. A white blotch is usually displayed above the pectoral fin at the start of the lateral line. Found to usually inhibits rocky estauries and coastal reefs.
