Golden Trevally

Juveniles different to adults with silver body, yellow head, fins and black vertical black bars running along the entire body (thick and thin). As they develop into adults black bars fade with age as well as yellow face and fins, resulting in the fish being dominantly silver in colour. Usually found in small schools in deeper water around sandy seabeds.

Size: 1.2 metres (Maximum)

Diet: Crustaceans, other small invertebrates & Small fishes
