Gold-band FusilierCaesio caerulaurea
The Gold-band Fusilier is commonly green to blue bodied above and silver to white below. They display a golden yellow band running from just behind the eye, along the body, down to the upper side of the caudal peduncle. Switching to black, it continues onto the upper half of the caudal fin. A similar black stripe is also displayed on the lower half of the caudal fin. They inhabit coastal and coral reefs usually in small to large schools. Size: 26cm (Maximum) Diet: Zooplankton, small invertebrates |
