Girdled Scalyfin

Colouration varies as the fish matures. Juveniles are orange bodied with bright blue scribbles scattered over the side of the body with a faint white vertical bar across the centre of the body. Adults are grey to brown bodied with the white bar now more bold. Usually inhabits coastal reefs in shallow waters.

Diet: Algae, small crustaceans
