Fine-spotted WrasseCirrhilabrus punctatus

Juveniles orange to red bodied with a distinct white patch on top of the snout and black spot on the upper base of the pectoral fin (evident through all stages) but males at lower base of fin. Adults grey to purple bodied with pinkish shading and small fine blue spots over the entire body. Caudal fin generally bright blue and green and dorsal and anal fins pink, orange or purple. Usually found in small groups or solitary along coral reefs and lagoons. Size: Length 10cm (Maximum) Diet: Benthic Invertebrates |
