Eastern Smooth Boxfish Anoplocapros inermis
This species varies in colour depending on its growth. Small juveniles start off as completely yellow then as they begin to age they start to develop brown spots. If female as the fish ages the yellow fades to an off white/brown and the brown spots remain. If male the body turns blue and the spots disappear to reveal golden mosaic patches on each side of the fish.
