Eastern HulafishTrachinops taeniatus
Easily identified by their distinct colour pattern, they are yellow, black and red on the upper half of the body and white below. The anal fin is often black and as juveniles the caudal fin is quite rounded but as they mature into adults becomes centrally longer. They can be found in large schools along the eastern coastal reefs of Australia. Size: 10cm in length (Maximum) Diet: Zooplankton |
