Diana's PigfishBodianus diana
(Other names Diana's Hogfish)
Diana's Pigfish (Bodianus diana) Juveniles are very dark purple/brown bodied with numerous white spots along the body they can often be found hanging out under ledges. As the fish matures it's body get lighter the head is red to brown gradating down to yellow and pink/white towards the tail. Black spots on the ventral, anal and caudal fins can be seen along with four yellow spots that run along the lateral line. Size: 25cm in length (Maximum) Diet: Benthic invertebrates & detritus |
