Cowtail StingrayPastinachus sephen
A large Ray with quite a rounded snout and wing tip. They have a dark colouration on top from brown to black and white underneath and a large thick long band-like tail. They can be found in freshwater streams and estauries and has been seen with Remoras accompanying them after a free feed. Although they are not known to usually be aggressive, caution should be taken when diving with these creatures. Size: 183cm width (Maximum) Diet: Crustaceans, Worms & Fishes |
