Coral RockcodCephalopholis miniata

Juveniles are orange to red bodied and as they mature into adults the back half of the fish including the dorsal, anal and caudal fin develops into a purple to blue. The body is covered in medium sized blue spots through all growth stages. Commonly found along coastal reefs in protected areas such as overhangs, caves and drop offs.
