Coral RabbitfishSiganus corallinus (also known as Signanus tetrazonus)
(Other names Blue-spotted spinefoot, Pacific Coral Rabbitfish)
Juveniles have slightly different markings to that of the adults. They are yellow bodied with small pale blue to white irregular vertical lines and as they mature into adults these lines fade to display numerous pale blue to white spots all over the body. The upper half of the fish remains yellow but begins to fade to almost white at the bottom. It is identified by its distinct black patch located over the eye.
