Comb WrasseCoris picta
Juveniles are white with large black horizontal stripe from the head to tail and are very similar to the Striped Cleaner Wrasse. Females are the same but display a yellow caudal fin and the black stripe develops comb like teeth. Males are also similar to the female but can change there display for territorial reasons where the black stripe almost disappears. Usually found along coastal reefs, deep sandy bottoms and rocky reefs. Size: 25cm in length Diet: parasites off other fish |
