Clown TobyCanthigaster callisterna
(Other names Clown toado)
Females lower half of body white with two dark brown horizontal lines separated by white running midlaterally along the body. These lines run into the top and base of the caudal fin. The upper body similar to males, yellowish brown to greenish brown with small blue lines and spots over the entire length. This continues over the entire body with the males. Commonly found in pairs along the coastal waters of New South Wales and occasionally seen in deeper offshore reefs. Size: 25cm in length (maximum) Diet: Algae & Small Invertebrates. |
