Brown Sweetlips

Plectorhinchus gibbosus
(Other names Harry Hotlips )

They have a silver to grey body with darker coloured fins, opercle margin and darker shading around the eyes and forehead. Juveniles generally brown (sometimes almost black) losing colour as they mature into adults. They are commonly found along coastal and coral reefs, estauries and deeper offshore reefs.

Size: 75cm in length (Maximum)

Diet: Benthic invertebrates
