The Breastspot Cleanerfish (Labroides pectoralis) is a small slender fish that is easily identified by its black spot that is set below the pectoral fins upon it's white breast. The tail has a black gradient running up the fishes body, this moves further and darker up the fish with age. Two black edged white bars run horizontally  from the snout  to the mid body. The top of the fish can differ in colour from red - orange - pink -yellow. They hang about on reefs, creating cleaning stations, they will swim in jerky movements signalling to other fishes the service they offer.

Size: 11 cm in length

Diet: Parasites, Dead Tissue and Food Scraps off other Fish
