Bowmouth Guitarfish

This large shark-shaped ray has an unusual shaped head with a horny ridge animating from the head, and running up the middle of the back towards the dorsal fin. It has a grey body that is white underneath and has numerous white spots over the upper body. A solitary ray that is rarely seen while diving.

Size: 300cm in length (Maximum)

Diet: Crustaceans & Mollusks
