Blue-spotted Rockcod

As juveniles they have a dark brown/grey body with yellow fins. As they mature into adults the body becomes a brown to reddish brown with irregular lighter brown patches and numerous distinct blue spots (margined in black) over the entire head and body. They are often found solitary around lagoons, coastal and seaward reefs.
