Bluehead Wrasse (Thalassoma amblycephalum) A elongated wrasse that changes considerably with age. Juveniles are white with a horizontal black bar running down the length of the body. Olive Green/grey on top with an orange forked tail. Large males are coloured by a gradient starting with bright blue/green on the head fading to green/yellow just before the pectoral fins with the rest of the body a a brilliant pink with blue edged scales.
