Blue BlanquilloMalacanthus latovittatus
As the name suggests the dominant colour on this fish is blue (from the head to mid body). From here the colour becomes a light silver which is covered by a black band positioned mid lateral, running down to the caudal peduncle. The top and bottom of the tail are white. Adults are found in pairs in the tropical waters of outer reef slopes. Size: 35cm in length (Maximum) Diet: Zooplankton |
