Blotched Hawkfish

White to silver bodied with numerous irregular brown blotches covering this fish. There is a distinct dark brown to black spot behind the eye on the operculum that distinguishes it from other Hawkfish. Usually found motionless on the seabed along coastal shores and lagoons.

Size: 12cm in length (Maximum)

Diet: worms, amphipods, small crabs, isopods, polychaetes
