Black-tipped BullseyePempheris affinis
A yellow bodied fish with silver running along the top half from head to tail and beneath this a fine white line running along the length of the body. The tips of the dorsal, caudal and anal fin all display the distinct black marking, hence where the name is derived from. They are often found in small groups inhabiting clear coastal waters around rocky reefs, ledges, drop offs and caves. Size: 15cm in length (Maximum) Diet: Zooplankton |
